In connection to religious iconography produced in the past. Most of the Christian stuff ever made for me seems to be very dated and I wanted to create something that’s more allocated toward the real world we live in. aimed at real people with ideas of fixation towards truth in reality of the generations to come. I find these days are scary, as the lack of knowledge toward the world we live in is hidden. The more I research in to the current state of our surroundings as humans, I feel stronger. As I can sufficiently indulge in delivering the truest form of natural feeling for the purpose of consumption by spectators.
At the start of the final year, I amounted to going back to my native original style of making work. This was in preparation for producing my sustained “look” and building an aesthetic. To gain this satisfaction I spent time in the summer deliberately drawing and painting any idea I had on to newsprint, using little martials. Most of the work is connected with human emotion and fragments of my mind in order to perfect an atmospheric response once received by the eyes of others. My first few weeks in the studio took me a while to get back in to the functional swing. I needed to adapt to the surroundings and working around others. I broke my self in to doing work by painting directly on to cheap rice paper, building up my techniques and concepts. On toward out going a notion of rapid work deliverance. Such as using other forms of artistic practises to convey, my message to the world. I have been using Photoshop on the I pad to make designs for clothing and collages. I have also spent time building installation type pieces using all kinds of martials and adding my own paintings. My main focus point for my work this year is to make work that allows the human race to spiritually connect.
This year my work is inspired by the religious Iconography and history of past and present. I fell in love with, the purpose of function, including the stories behind the works. Marvelling over the creations of statues, architecture and anything that belonged to that specific topic. My main goal was to come to terms of what it meant to be as an artist and what types of art operate in their own ways. I started to acknowledge that the arts are there for consumption with illicit meaning. This is purposeful to adapt one’s thoughts and to gain new concepts. Once realising this It instantly made my new work start to deliver actual platforms of conceptualized energy, with empathy and meaning. I also came to believe that classic styles of art are not the only form of connectivity. This is why art vanguard is so highly considered in our life’s, as it allows freedom to express without boundaries, in many different stylistic categories.
